Tanya Nichols and I (Scott) are high school sweethearts and have been married for 15 years. We live in Greenville NC, but our family has our heart in many places. We have what we believe are two really awesome girls. Our oldest is 11 years old and our youngest is 4. 

Since I could remember, I have been a little obsessed with photography. My family has always had a camera around, and luckily I never got in trouble for using too much film. When digital cameras became a thing, you could always find one on me when I was out on the farm or fishing. I thought I saw the world differently, and I loved sharing that. When my 1st daughter was born, my parents bought me my first entry-level camera. In 2011 I started Frame of You Photography and since then I have acquired quite a collection of photography equipment and friends along the journey.

My background started as a web designer at ECU, where I worked with some talented photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and developers. I later changed roles to be a WordPress admin, Graphic designer, and later a Microsoft365 admin within the IT department at ECU. My hobbies are gardening, tinkering with app development, web design, and obviously photography. More specifically landscape and astrophotography.

Tanya has been a nurse for over 15 years. Tanya picked up photography while assisting with photoshoots with me. She can now hold her on and work independently during a photo session. Tanya brings a ladies’ view to detail, organization, posing that feels natural, and a staging quality you’d find on Pinterest. Tanya’s hobbies are cooking, traveling, shopping, being an awesome mom and wife, and binge-watching tv shows when life lets it fit in.

We both bring our strengths to your session whether it be technicality in photography, editing, lighting, posing, or setting up the shot. We bring honesty, experience, and fun. We value your time and take every measure to make sure your milestones are captured with the utmost care. We are eager to make sure you feel comfortable with us from the beginning to delivery of your photos.
